Meet our team :)

Brigitte Barin

Artistic director

Born in Santo Domingo, Brigitte draws her energy from her Caribbean roots; in its colors, materials, animals, nature and myths. She plays with as many codes and mediums as she has tabs open in her browser (that is to say a lot), always with the aim of creating a unique universe.

Sabantho Oñi (Skeitha Thomas)

Arawak/Lokojan Consultant

Skeitha is a proud Lokono Arawak woman. She is a devoted Language Activist, who has been working on the revitalization, promotion and preservation of Lokojan Arawak language. A teacher of language, culture, and traditions and also an advocate for indigenous people across Guyana.

Riwan Réjon

Coordinator & Developer

Riwan is a developer from Martinique. He likes sweet potato fries and video games that assume their political message. At the origin of the Afro-Caribbean universe of "Tales of Ka", he works to extend the possibilities of the Caribbean imagination, like a tree extending its roots.

Nil Quivar

Writing Consultant

Nil trains young people on the notions of consent and equality. Passionate about sociology and psychology, she helps us find the right tone, based on her own experience as a survivor and her search for meaning.

Thalia Papadakis

2D Artist/Illustrator

A true Swiss knife, despite being Greek, Thalia is a visual artist, and a prolific and versatile illustrator with a great fondness for ridiculously intricate details. She strongly believes in the political and revolutionary power of arts, and bring to life stories that educate, inspire, empower, and uplift.

Guy-André Yerro

Translator

Born on the day of the commemoration of slavery's abolition in Martinique, G.A. is passionate about history and revolts. Storyteller, writer, translator, queer anarchist and inveterate Internet user, they participate in the project in the shadow of the great minds who conceived it.
